This class implements a voting management system. Results are displayed in percentage and through bars. All settings can be achieved from a initialization file (in this example, 'vote.ini'). There's some flexibility in the implementation, so one may set one's custom entries, either in global settings. Usually one sets up: * the number of entries; * the entries labels themselves; * all votes numbers to 0. One should see both example files index.php and vote.php to understand how this class works.

Dynamic Survey System
Survey system application has been developed as a senior project in the CIS program at UNF under Dr. Solano. It was developed for the Advising Department but to this day has not been implemented on their web site due to lack of funds. With Dr. Solano?s and my coauthors? permission I am making this program available under the GPL license. Survey is the more complex of the two. The survey system allows the administrator to build multiple surveys dynamically (although in a sometimes restricted manner) from survey description, to different kind of questions and different choices to even specifying which questions are required to be answered. The administrator may then create extremely detailed reports from the filled out questionnaires and even export them to Excel. Visit my site to view a live example of the client and admin sides.

My poll system is easy to install, setup and integrate into your site. The poll manager script allows for easy creation and modification of polls. The poll skinner let's you completely configure the look and feel of the poll without editing any script or stylesheets. All you have to do is edit the config file and give it the required database info, it's all web-based from there. Adding a poll is a simple server side include. The polls operate in secondary popup windows instead of having to change a page each time. Ballot-stuffing is prevented through the use of cookies and IP address logging. Although, IP address logging isn't always the best way since many corporate networks only expose one IP address to the Internet and there may be hundreds of potential voters behind the firewall.
