@1 File Store  
A file archive plus membership access system written using PHP + MySQL. The Master Administrator may create multiple folders containing subfolders. Files can be uploaded to these folders. Users who wish to download the files need to register themselves as members (and get approved by the Administrator). Members can be assigned to different groups with each group having different access permission to different folders. Other features include multiple Sub-Administrator, email notification upon file upload and approval, various access logs, file extensions allowed, maximum filesize allowed etc.

ArrayToExcel
When using databases, it is frequently requested that data is output to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. However, this is a particularly difficult task to complete as Excel spreadsheets are a proprietary format, and difficult to create. One way around this is to use COM programming, which takes the backend language (PHP) and uses that to tell Excel itself what to do. Downfalls of this include requiring a Windows web server with Excel installed, a fair chunk of your processing power being used up, and a bug-ridden API. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. as Excel versions 2000 and later (or possibly even earlier!) Can accept files written in XML. Now XML is a whole format, too much to explain here, but suffice to say that an XML document is reasonably easy to create, is as good as you make it, and has no special requirements of the server. To this end, the ArrayToExcel class is under development to allow us to create an array (or number of arrays) of objects, and very simply create an Excel spreadsheet that can be opened by any fairly up-to-date version of Excel, and various other spreadsheet packages as well!

Convert almost any HTML file to a PostScript document. The HTML is assumed to be W3C 4.0 compliant. Not all HTML files can be accurately converted using this system, so please try the demo to ensure that your file can be converted successfully before using this. You shoud ensure that you have PHP 4.3 or higher, with the GD libraries installed. Depending on the document that you're converting, you may need to have the JPG and PNG extensions enabled, too. This script is provided to the PHP community by Darren's $5 Script Archive as a community service. After using so many GPL resources in my own work, I figured that it's about time that I give something back! Good luck with html2ps (PHP version!)
